A Virgin Unveiled

If I give,
and he receives
What if my life
he leaves?

Oh, to have loved wrong,
then have the treasure lost.
What a price to pay
a twenty five year cost.

A gift from me
for his delight.
What if its quality
is not of his sight?

Once the veil is lifted,
and the prize revealed
Will my essence still be gifted
after the years it was concealed?

If I do give,
and his presence is lost
How then do I live
after the gift was tossed?

Well get rid of everything that reminds you of him. The first step is wanting.
Other than that you have a well written poem here.
Cheers
