I'm not bending my rules,
they are my only simple ass tools.
Well you and your rules,
need to go back to schools.
I've seen a lot of to proud afraid to bend boards,
who end up on the lonely roads.
Traveling alone,
with their happiness all gone.
Afraid to give in a little,
because they're afraid it will belittle,
or compromise,
their foolish disguise.
Sure I kiss up a little to my wife,
at least I got a life.
Nothings perfect anyway,
and in the end we all pay.
God isn't about loneliness,
and onlyness,
he's about love and togetherness.
Forgive and try to understand,
your fellow man,
or end up hating,
and alone relating.
I'm going to pay,
on my own highway,
in my own way.
Some people can't keep a job,
and alone they sob.
Begging for a penny,
because they can't keep any.
They can't get along with anyone,
to associate with anyone,
workwise,
or to socialize.
They refuse to compromise.
Got all that stubborn foolish pride,
with no job or personal life,
then they try to come down on me and my wife.
My wife and I both have a job,
and each other,
and it's worth the bother.
Get a life!
Before it ends,
in loneliness and strife.
Blink!
