Treading in a pool of tears
I stay afloat in a shock filled limbo land
Hoping I never sink and drown.

I am so lost,
Completely numbed by reality.
My life force has departed
Leaving me empty
And feeling nothing at all.
No love, No hate
Just nothing.

He is really gone this time.
I will never see his name come across my screen again.
His soft gentle voice is just a memory now.
His beautiful smile drifting on the surface of my heart.
Never again will our eyes touch.
No more looks of love.

I still love him.
Yes, I love him so much.

I forgave her,
Only he will never forgive me.

So I am alone now.
Empty.
And so, so alone.

I hope it has gotten easier for you now and you know that you are not alone. Many of us have gone through similar situations. Better things are ahead for you and you have the strength and courage to go on. Prayers for you too today.

It hurt just to read this, so deeply heart touching. Strong women survive even when it feels like we won't.

When I have felt that emptiness I've feared what might fill it ... I mean now that the one you love is gone, what horrors await? pain and more pain. Yet we brave love again and again. The beauty of love more than makes up for those possible horrors of loss.

I hope that you look in your mirror, and see what he is missing, then give it all to yourself.

From the poem standpoint--very well written and expressed--the tome speaks well of the subject. From my personal standpoint--I can definitely relate to the feeling of being "numbed to reality" and so the poem connects the reader. For you, I hope you the best and a quick and smooth transition to finding that reality that you have lost, having had the same experience I can say that the journey does become clearer but it does take a little while.
