Lean On Me

My burdens were so heavy
that the Lord bent and said:
“Lean on Me infinity.
There’s no load too heavy for Me!”
In His arms I flourish,
nourish,
and thrive.
My sorrows were so many
my tears nearly ran dry.
“Lean on Me with faith and hope.
I’ll teach you how to live and cope.”
In His arms serenity
completely
calms me.
My body was so weary
that I could hardly stand.
“Lean on Me
I’ll take you home.
My mansion is not Mine alone.”
In His arms eternity,
infinity
. . . envelopes me.
