It's night and I'm here all alone The tinkle of the rain has come Minutes fill with pitter pat Tin on tin it splitter splats Rain can get you all fired up Can keep your passions purpled up Can make your plummage colors stand Thoughts regale and end up grand Stormy nights when light displays The passion play out on the bay Crisscrossing lanes of flashing rotors Clinging thoughts with droning motors Alone they fondle all my dreams Rain so purple with passions sting.

Susan, excellent poem. Rain can be so many wonderful things but lately too much of it can also be a downer.
