I'm writing this as a request from Sherra Edwards. Her boyfriends brother, Michael Jason Denmark was walking on the lefthand side of the road on Hwy. 27, in Perry Florida. He saw that a hitchhiker was in danger on the other side of the highway. He ventured out in incoming traffic in order to save the hitchhikers life, but he was hit by a car as he crossed over, killing him. He was only 21. He left behind a Mom: Julie...A dad: Bruce Two brothers: Robert and Chris A Sister: Victoria
He loved the color black and playing basketball. This young man died trying to save anothers life. In my opinion that makes Michael Jason Denmark a hero.

My family, my friends, you
know who you are
Have you ever looked up
At a twinkling star
Thats how I watch over you
And guide your way
I am not gone at all
I'm just away
I still live in the heart
Of all of you
Just close your eyes and
A memory comes through

Mom and Dad , my love
Is always there
Victoria , Always know
How much I care
Robert and Chris, take care
Of the family
I will be with you
Though you cannot see
Standing in the wind
I'll be the breeze
You can feel my spirit
But no body sees

Grandpa and Grandma Brown
You are close to my heart
It hurts me so much
That we are apart
Swimming in Aucilla river
Is a favorite memory
The place where I grew up
Thats where I loved to be
Playing "Creed" on the
Old radio
Time went so fast but
I was moving slow

Remember that I gave my life
To help another soul
I did not live in vain , I
want the story told
I lived my life with honor
I died with no regret
Dry your tears and do not grieve
I have not left you yet
My spirit lives inside of you
Feel it every day
Watch the heavens for a star
For I haven't gone away
