Waiting For You…
When you’re away,
My skies are so gray,
I know my darkness worries you,
When you can’t stay,
Make me believe,
Our love is real,
Letting me feel,
The joy of the world again…
My love,
I wish you could understand,
When you are not here,
To chase away my fear,
The darkness closes in,
And I feel the end so near…
I’m trying to hold on,
But the rope is slipping
From my grasp-
And you are not here,
To catch me when I fall…
Someone once told me,
In the battle of life,
You will always find yourself alone,
And that is when your heart,
Must be made of stone…
Ah,
Such words he said to me,
How deeply you must look,
To see the stone in me-
My smile is all they see…
I don’t like it when you go away,
The shadows come then,
And want to play,
Calling my name,
Enticing me to enter,
Their dark world,
And never be alone again…
My love,
Once you said;
“Wait for me,
I will come-
Through hell’s bright fire,
On the wings of our desire
To be together at the end…”
You asked me then,
If I would be there still,
At the end of time,
Waiting for you,
When I can finally claim
You as mine…
Will I be there?
I don’t know-
I want to be,
I love you so much,
Just once,
I would like to touch,
Your sweet lips,
Kiss you long and deep,
Lay down so close to you,
Watch you as you sleep…
Will I wait for you?
I want to-
Don’t make me
Wait too long,
Baby,
My heart,
Is not that strong…
I Miss you so much,
Missing your loving touch,
Your gentle kisses you leave,
So sweetly on my face,
Waiting for you baby-
As long as I can…
