*Aug. 17, 2003.

I don't wonder much about life anymore.
I'm alive and that's about all there is to it.
I eat. I sleep. And, I have to work to pay rent.
I cook so my wife and I have something to eat
And, I put gas in the car so we can get around.
There's not much to it--I do the things I have to.
There's not much use in wondering about it--
Wondering won't pay the rent and feed us meat
And it sure won't make me feel any different.
So, I'll just keep on doing what I have to
And let the philosophers ponder life's lore.
I'll just keep churning in the little circle in which I'm wound.

Excellant work, but... "just because our perception and existance of reality may be anything but what we really want that does not mean we should stop questioning and wondering!"

P.S. Yes, that lil quote is one of mine! :O)

I agree with you,JW.These days nothing really surprises me and speculation on life and it's meaning if it has any certainly doesn't pay the rent.I try to enjoy the beauty of Nature while I am still around.
