I was just a young boy
and you a young girl
when two of us met
and were swept in a swirl.
I promised you happiness
but life often stink'…
Did I ever love you?
Well, what do you think?
Married you twice…
Oh what a schmuck!…
Was it good fortune
or was it bad luck?…
Gave you no diamonds,
gave you no mink.
Do I still love you?….
Well, what do you think?…

I met the "girl(s)" in the above photo at University in September 1952.
Married her in July 1955. (and NO she was not pregnant!)
Remarried her (without divorce) 25 years later.
We've been studying and working together since the day we met,
till her retirement two years ago.
I wrote the above verse for her for the 50th anniversary of our first meeting.
I don't talk or write about love.
Do I love her?
Well, what do YOU think?
This is my public tribute to the "Girl" who put up with me for so long.
