So much confusion surrounding me
Making me wonder can I really see?
Why is truth draped in insanity?
Why do lies spill across my veins with profanity?

Am I now realizing loneliness is playing its ugly game?
Turning a phrase into a ball of flame
Igniting life into a whirlwind of fire
Not knowing that rules are always required

There they are so busy condemning themselves to a life of no change
When they are the ones who are deranged
Such sad souls living a life of dread
Always reinventing the realm of honesty instead

So here I am hoping to fix everything
Wishing I could set all the lost ones free
Dreaming they'll find the best in life that could be
Before they drown in reality
