I yearn to walk by the sea again feel the surf pull at my toes and the sand erode under my feet as if to say jump in, take a swim standing with the morning sun rising turn my back to it, and see the night retreat schools of fish close to the shore hear the feeding, that morning frenzy sound smelling the air as high tide washes the beach clean picking up new gifts left behind on the shore bits of broken shells, star fish and sea weed sit upon drift wood and create a wind chime string the weed and shells and tying on the star fish holding it high in the wind and listen to the voice hearken, as it plays a melody in the background the sea sends it songs to us from the deep

your poem reminds me of my few trips to the
sea (even tho for 14 yrs i lived on an island
washed by the tides of James Bay)
