Rose Symbolizes love, But It Dies

Do you hear my voice?
I cry aloud to the God
Break your silence
And answer my call
Rose, it symbolizes love
But it dies
If it symbolizes love,
Then why does it die?
Is it because,
Every rose has its thorn
And it often pierces
The core of the lover’s heart
With its venomous scratch
And perishes with remorse
Or is it because
Rose represents the fragility of love

Beautiful & moving. Some people say they love when they don't really know the meaning. I send a hug to you. (((hug)))

Ah Bhuwan, what a nice poem about the rose. Perhaps the rose dies because love dies. Everything of physical form dies, yet the essence memory of the rose's beauty lives on.
