My heart and my mind
They used to live together in peace
But now upon your advent in my life
Through the gates of my loneliness
They brawl ceaselessly as inherited foes
So these days, whenever I think about you
I try vigorously to forget you
Not because I don’t love you
But because I love my solitude too
So, try to understand me, leave me
Alone, let me have the privilege
Of having my own company again
Because, when my mind
Is causing commotion
How can I,
Listen to my heart?
And deceive my soul by saying
I love you very much, my beloved

Oh a FANTASTIC examination and psychoanalysis of just how much chaos love in our lives can really create; but if the love be true, oh the rewards and love PURE LOVE be so great!
Fantastic Writing here Bhuwan!

Oh Bhuwan! This poems opens vistas of feelings and thoughts, where one loves their loved ones and their company, yet one craves the "solitude" that one needs and loves! The solitude that strengthens and nourishes one's sooul!!! Wonderful write! Thank you!

Bhuwan:

This portrays our heart won't listen to our heads. Yes, sometimes, they do disagree.

Great write indeed!

Yes it is important to learn to deal with the self alone in solitude. There's nothing like love but there's also nothing like learning to be happy as one. Then when another shows up, you have twice the fun. Then if that other leaves, you'll still know happiness with self. Great poetic expressed piece. G
