Thunderstruck

Low, slow rumble and build.
Need, palpable in the air.
Winds gust, walls dissolve.
Pitch black, quiet murmurs.
Blinded, fingers find lips.
Touch and taste are sight.
Iliac crests, come to rest.
Bones to flesh, molten, hot.
Intense, electric, igniting.
Heartbeats, loud as thunder.

They tell me it's dopamine. Nice job anyway.

I'm cheering! Excellent, excellent writing!

P.S. You know the fish head song . . .I just saw it in your profile! I got so excited; I was starting to think I was the only person left on Earth who knows the song!

Nice juxtaposition of paradoxes, nice metaphor for blinding passion and lust. Great write, Anne!
