This poem is dedicated to all the daydreamers in the world, (such as myself.)

~Sometimes I like to be alone
if only to reflect

I think about what's going on
deep inside myself

I think about what was
and can never be again

Like the time when I was five
and Troy Butler pulled my hair

My first date,
first kiss,
walking down the aisle

My first child,
his first smile,
first tooth,
and first few baby steps

I think about many things
from the past to the present

I toss in a dream or two
my own little slice of heaven

MY favorite, my own little hideaway
on some far off secluded island

I stop, reflect, do I dare compare
my past dreams to those of the present?

Have I changed? Grownup?
Apparently not entirely

I still enjoy daydreaming as much today
as I did at the young tender age of eleven~

Daydreams bring us in to focus and lead us to what we want from this world. Nothing wrong with day dreaming. Miracles can always happen.

WOW I DO THIS SO OFTEN AND HAVE BEEN DOING IT ALL MY LIFE BECAUSE IT WAS SO HARD AND I STILL DO IT. MAYBE THAT IS WHY I AM SUCH A WRITER FOR I DREAM AND IMAGINE SO MUCH.

I am a daydreamer too, Victoria. So, in a sense, that makes us a "kindred spirit." Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you. Regis

enjoyed this victoria. I love to dream and daydream. Dreams are like watching a tv in your own head. They play out our loves, hates, fears etc. Daydreaming gives me a way to fantasize on things I want or life events of joy and riches. tkc G
