Walkers

Remix...

She is walking down
the long country road
All alone in the winters cold..
Just a forgotten child
no place to go.
She is like an extra
piece to a puzzle
That never could belong..
So she will take this road
to no where..
She will walk this life alone..
Sometimes cars and trucks
speed by her..
Rushing icy wind
through her soul..
But they never
take notice..
They care not
where she goes..
So she continues to walk
this road to no where..
Searching for a home..
She is still yet a child..
The darkness
scares her so..
She wishes
she had someone..
Who would love her
like their own..
She dreams..
in the darkness..
Perhaps at the end
of this road..
There could be others
just like her..
With no place left to go..
the walkers of the lonely
 .... The lonely dark roads.
