Katydid, if you want rain, you should come out to West Virginia. We've had enough rain to sink Atlantis. After a couple days of sun and blue skies, it decides to soak us for the next two to three weeks. Maybe I should write a poem called "Sopped Up."

Why, because you want it too. All good weather persons have all gone off chasing tornadoes or become hurricane people.

|Funny, but true! So much for technology, huh? Remember when you could tell if it was going to be a bad winter by watching the animals and how they prepared? Thank you sharing this....

Very good, Katy. I think most people have a hard time understanding weather forecasting--it's all a matter of probabilities. Most people want a yes or no answer. The meteorologists are not to blame. If they told you there is a 60% chance of rain, would that be more honest? :)

I love this, I am a person who enjoys the rain. Where I live, it has rained basically every weekend this summer, and most of the week. Sending you happy vibes that you get some rain in your area!
You are a cutie...you know? (((Katy)))

Okay Dear Katy, Then we have the other side of the coin, they keep saying dry and it keeps raining, seems we should swap them.

My pet peeve! Robots who attempt to give the weather and, even with all that sopistication in the sky to help them, can only stand before the weather map and look "beautiful" and have no earthly idea what they are doing. Oh, almost forgot, I liked the poem.

This is good Katy! An enjoyable read dear. It's been raining in Texas for a week now, very odd too, we don't usually see any moisture for over a month this time of the year. Hope you get some rain soon! ~SH~
