Erica,
Extremely powerful emotions in your write this one is so deep and beautiful.
"Either way is wrong.
Here I am!!
Trying to be heard
But unable to scream.
No one to listen.
Please I say ..
with open arms
Always smiling
hoping
believing "

As always your poetry sings of the loneliness of your early life and the longing of a child neglected and abused by those who should have cared much more than they did. You sing the song of the child so well and so beautifully that it made my heart cry.
