how could U do this
your hatred showed prejudice
your actions showed cowardice &
how dare U attack
U struck us behind our back
we feel tha awful impact &
we all askin why
why so many have 2 die
your hatred makin us cry &
souls stepped into space
their lives instantly erased
in nightmares we see their face &
tha twin towers fell
pentagon a damaged shell
your terror put us thru hell &
lost flight ninety-three
loved ones caught in tha debris
a horrible tragedy &
we livin in fear
& holdin our loved ones near
images in our minds sear &
that september day
we remember in dismay
innocence U snatched away &
U had better pray
tellin U, U gonna pay
cuz it aint gone be this way &

"always remember and never forget"

Powerful, Karla. This poem is filled with piss and vinegar but it tugs at the emotional heart strings of us all. Well done.

>tears < :( raw, real, heartbreaking, heartfelt, emotional write that grabs and won't let go--love the flow and rhyming, and style this is written in--hip hop brimming with anger. well done, i will always remember and never forget, and "god bless america again!" :( ((((((HUGS)))))) and love, your twin sister, karen lynn. :(
