I hunger to feel...

(ice)

the freedom of mercurial fluidity
electrifyingly transformed into the
stiffened frigid weight of solidity.

(stone)

the anchor of rocky stability
cementing my molecular faces
into a compression of lengthened time.

(fern)

the frenzy to pierce my earthy womb
rapturing with energies of genesis surging
up to uncrinkle my furled rebirth.

(cat)

the total sensuality of night sensations
vibrating through conduits of nerves
seeking an outlet to aching nirvana.

(flight)

the giddiness of tidal uplift
supporting my feather-weight frame
while oceans of air stroke me insane.

(god)

the expansion of consciousness
cremating the pains of embodiment
as I explode into a compacted nova.

(peace)

comfortable in the inescapable knowledge
facing me of the shadow of mortality
and so rejoiced, I will become quintessence

revealed.

Oh my god, I'm a nutcase!! I did not even see just how erotic this piece could be taken! Do you think Sigmund would have noticed?! :)

Erin.. this felt erotic to me.. then I realized, you have words making love to each other! from your head/heart to the page.. like a ballet dance.. something subliminal here, too.. many fine poets, including you, touch, move, wake up the senses.. you do one more thing that's more rare: you fascinate! love, katy xox.
