This poem is not intended for all the wonderful men in the world. And I for one, am so greatful for you.
Any Woman's Lament
Was there something you may have forgotten,
An emotion or two, in some men.
How did they slip by, your creating eyes,
Before making their earthly descent.
Did you fail to see there was anger,
When you made them, in the image of you.
If you did, take a look at our universe,
And take a look at, an abuser or two.
Unending wars, touch all of our lives,
Can't you see from your heavenly view,
The suffering they have inflicted,
With permission of free will, from you.
Some lie, some cheat, and some ravage,
The sweet innocence of our youth,
In need of your spiritual justice,
To put an end, to this endless abuse.
Dear Lord, can't you see all the violence,
Round this globe, there's no peace amongst men.
Unwilling to evolve, problems never getting solved,
Same scenarios lived, again... and again... and again...
Entering the world, as though they were hurled,
Never listening, nor hearing your cues.
They passed through your hands, like hourglass sands,
Oh yes Lord, you did miss a few...

|I like it! But, lets' not leave women out of
this equation! Women seem to think that it's men only who create the trouble in this world. This could not possibly be true.
Women; you're not so innocent, and not all of you are sugar spice and everything nice.
just as not all men are snakes snails and
Gay men, such as I, are actually stirred in a pot of lavender oil and patchouli, for example.

|outstanding write... unfortunately, god couldn't care less... unless there is some divine planning behind man's hostile nature...|

|Bonnie, I love your writing style...how it flows. As for the content...yes some people do appear to have slipped through God's hands, but I think some women have as well as some men. Thank you for this, I enjoyed it.
