kissing her in the dark
not one dark

why fear
what has already
killed you?

green water --
the gulls converting freedom fries
into decorative shit

time is a mist
that blinds us,
a storm that binds us
to the wreckage
of our own existence:
oddly enough, it, too,
does not exist (okay not a haiku)

my masterpiece
written with my finger
flows down stream

behind the 'who'
we clutch in terror to survive --
the anonymous bedfellow
of the divine (i know, i know)

i graduated
from the school of the obvious --
growing uglier day by day
in my beautiful, insignificant
life: no diploma

the root of meaning (5 syllables)
in every syllable (7)
life's most basic wish (5)

still not a haiku --
even my camera is broken
and the light is fading fast

Unbelievable liberties have been taken here -- if i existed i'd object to such utter brilliance! Dark Cloud
