Read my LINES,
between them... please.
My sweat is there in these.

Don't read BETWEEN my lines
in ANY Of my rhymes,
There are NO secrets in there to covey,
no secret issues there at play.
For me, poetry is not a game,
if it were,I'd leave off my name.

Just read WHAT
the LINES say,
facts and fiction there, plain as day.
Why ignore the line?
What use then is my rhyme?
a WASTE of good time is BETWEEN the line.

My lines say how I feel
the meaning there is real
I do NOT walk on a fence
(and I mean this with no offence)
my lines are all black and white
how I feel is how I write
don't look under or on top
the actual line's the place to stop.
There are NO secret issues underscore,
don't read between my lines ANYMORE.
I have the urge to put my views on the line...
look for me there NOT IN your own mind.
I don't need the yellow OF in between,
says WHAT I mean.
Poetry for me is my expression time,
so please,
Just read ON the line.

Anyone who knows me knows I do not pussy foot around
if I have smething to say,I say it...write it,I get really angry if anyone suggests there are secret issues between my lines....that is just plain old hog wash..THERE ARE NO SECRET ISSUES ....I AM(now and always) an open book, read me if you dare,if not...
my lines will still be there, they won't care.
Sorry,but I am just ssssooooooo
tired of the bull shit.

Kay.. this is quite interesting.. it feels like you read my thoughts. (smile) I say this very thing often.. but I must apologize.. I suggested more than one level on your goldfish poem.. forgive me if I stuck my toe in too 'deep'.. hehe.. sigh.. sometimes what's there is in the mind of the 'beholder'.. I love knowing that what I see IS what I'm getting! You do it well.. Take care.. katy xox.

Oh, bless you! If I had a nickel from everybody who found hidden meanings in what I didn't say, well, I might not be rich, but I'd sure as hell be a happy camper.

Thank you for this one!

Hooray!! Hootsy for you Kay!!! Tell it like it is ... no reson to tolerate the bull shit. Let ths chips fly with your broad cutting axe. I promise to accept your words as the facts and not look between the lines for things I can't find; cause they are not there. Great expression of feelings. Bill Murray

Hi Kay:

Remember that there are so many people in this world, do not try to please everyone. Just always write what you feel is right, and how you feel. It's YOURSELF that you have to please first. Don't let others get to you and bother you.

You've always said it like it is. Some folks just have to play their little games. Always keep writing your lines and then I'll be fine.

Hi Kay
I have missed you. No matter what anyone misperceives I encourage you to keep writing.
People's perceptions of art are about them, not about you. You have greatly inspired me.

Some of what I write is from my emotions.....and some from my otherwise I'd be locked up in a pretty white cell.

Just follow your muse...and hope the reader follows you :)

Great stuff Kay!.......Love, Dani
