I know exactly what you mean Katy. But do you ever get enough uninterupted time? I dont..every one seems to want a piece....mind you, they could have a slice off my tummy, I wouldnt miss it .....hehehehe.

| Katydid, all those bugs and whistles never seem to intrude but they mesh into the flow of a peaceful night. And no one can state that more succinctly than you. I also think Southern Horizons has the right idea. But it was your words that opened the door. Once again, Katydid, I bow to your Viking wisdom. |

| Give me loud horns outside my window, a siren wailing in the night and a multitude of voices passing by my abode. So! Why do I live in a small southern town? All that is here, but in moderation. I do understand the peace and serenity and solitude of nature at its best, however. You described that very well in your poem. |
