Brighter Days

Things can be better.

There is a bleak darkness in my path.

I am unable to find my way.

I may cry for all of my pain.

I cling to the belief there will be something good in the air.

I fight my feelings of total anger.

I refuse to waver.

It will get better.

I must keep the faith.

There will be a clearing in my path.

I have to keep away from fear.

My heart will stay pure.

I may be down.

I refuse to be counted out.

I will score again.

I shall look for the light.

A light that will bring brighter days in my life.
