They say
Confession is Good for the Soul
So here is mine
Sometimes
I write something that accidentally
Sounds like I know
What Iím talking about
That sounds thoughtful
Intelligent
Sane
Donít let it fool you
Itís purely coincidental
A freak trick of wording that isnít likely
To happen again
Any time soon
In case there is any doubt
The only thing
Between me and the straightjacket
Is years of
Practice
At appearing normal
And sane
At not answering
The voices
When they talk to me
In front of others
So donít ask me for advice
Donít take any
Iím offering
And
Never
Ever
Think
For one moment
That
I
Am
Right
About anything
Thank
you

I beg to differ. :) Anything you write IS you and your thoughts, if it comes out on paper in a manner that portrays knowledge and finesse, all the better! Sometimes tricking ourselves is more damaging than tricking others. I think this poem is powerful and astute, Sue. Lapse away, dear girl! You have a voice embued with you. Cherish the fact and sing your songs!! :)

You're probably right more than you give yourself credit for. As a matter of fact I know you are.
