from the far right my   thoughts     drift

passing    confused    through the far left

                                                                                             and ending up
                                                                                    somewhere in the middle

                                                             This is the consequence
                                                                                                          of a conservative upbringing
                                               confused by a liberal education
                                                                                                        supplanted by time and experience
(If you ask me--it's all the same on paper.)

Sounds similar to my experience, only if you really delve it tilts towards the right for as Jerry says right is right, more of the time. Well done J.

Yes, it can be confusing, but believe me, right is right. Good thinking out loud on paper is what I'd call it, you've swimming through all the subterfuge.
