Have you ever heard a dog cry?
Like a candle glow
flickering light,
like distant cries of tribal tribes,
where rivers flow
deeper and deeper
into the night.

Snooze, snooze..........
though I try,
my body still,
Still I could not shut out the cries,
a melancholic sigh,
long and seemingly endless,
started out high,
dove downwards in a glissando,
mournfully meandering across the hall,
slithered through the crevice of my bedroom door,
A voice so beautiful and pure, yet
wrenched my heart when it reached my ears,
my heart was bleeding Morrie's tears.

She's just a bitch,
a wretched animal,
lowly and unworthy
of but superficial adore,
so why does my heart feel so much more?
