Echo

Memory of the Earthquake that hit Turkey on the 17th of August 1999 where more than 25,000 people lost their lives and others were maimed for life

I call out your name,

"Can you hear me?
Hellooo......"

Not a sound is heard,
Amongst the debris,
Horrible wreckage,
Destruction,
Silence,
And the echo,
Of mine,
Returning to me.

"Can you hear me?
Hellooo......"
