Waltz with me once more my darling
Beneath the moonlit sky
Sway with me to gentle music
While deep inside I cry

I have danced with you many times
The years have quickly passed
Tonight I want you next to me
To make the feeling last

Hold me tenderly in your arms
One more waltz in my heart
Whisper your sweet words in my ear
Pretend we will not part

Waltz with me tonight my darling
Beneath the starlit sky
Pretend that life is forever
No sorrows, no good byes

I know that you canít really waltz
And hold me in your arms
Twirling me round the room
Subduing me with charm

You lie there scarcely hanging on
Love from your eyes is gone
Each breath you exhale is labored
Soon I will be alone

But for tonight let us pretend
That you are doing fine
Let us waltz through the door of
death
The final waltz this time
