Wow, this makes me think of death and no matter how it is intended it is well written and gives the reader their own chance at interpretation.

| The genius of this piece is that it can be directed toward many individuals. My own interpretation is of a father about to lose his daughter to a suitor. Great write, jing. |

Great pieces lend themselves to interpretation. Your piece allows the reader to journey down many paths. I read this many ways; as a struggle to hold onto youth, love, sanity, and life itself.
