Aussie sunshine writes with  blue eyes shining through,
Aussie sunshine warms your heartstrings  with her sunny hue.
Leave it where it smiles down on us all
leave the Aussie sunshine so shadows dare not fall.
Aussie sunshine likes lingering on  lines
patiently radiating ultra violet wholesome times.
Let our Aussie sunshine warm us  like she wants to do
leave her to stream life through her eyes of soft sky blue.
Leave our Aussie sunshine to brighten up the Grey
take your jealous clouds away
thunder on some other day
but let our sunny Aussie sunshine stay.
Why do you have to block her rays
with your  shadowed stormy gaze?
why do you want to thunder
on the sunshine from down under?
Leave the Aussie sunshine to sprinkle out for all
let her shine so we'll feel fine
don't let your shadows on her fall.
She quills sunshine like golden daffodils
peeking blue gently too to unfreeze life's frozen chills.
Storm cloud,
darken not such majesty,
storm cloud....
LEAVE our Aussie sunshine BE

Oh, what a kind, sweet tribute to our beautiful Aussie Dani.. you are a generous and thoughtful rhymer, Kay. Those who rear the green head of envy to lash at this fair maid will have the likes of you to deal with.. your poem simply radiates,, as does the sweet poet who wrote it and for whom it was written. You speak for many of us. Thank you. love, katy xox.

Kay, I've never seen the Aussie sunshine, but I'll just bet our sunshine looks alot like it. I don't like it when the clouds cover ours either. Great write. Lisa
