Thanks for commenting May Lu, this one is for you.

Tang isn't simply a delicious orange beverage
powdered and developed by NASA
Also a Dynasty from 618 to 907
which rivaled the Han in it's prestige
Block printing originated
Buddhism florished
in the rebellious child of Sui
until, at last doomed to repeat the mistakes,
it fell to fragmentations of five and ten
.
A friend sent me a box of tea,
she wears the name of the wind
as it folds on the sidewalk's end,
and it said
