so
i painted this beautiful picture
of inspiration and creativity
every detail so intricate, too intricate
too surreal my beautiful picture
this
life of happiness and trust
never doubting stupidly never
doubting
honestly never
questioning the lines
but
i forgot the shaded gray
and the gray was overpowering
and the gray was composed of lack
lack of trust and lack of
the ability to truly love
to freely give honestly
and
my beautiful little picture
framed with such passion
and such purity never guessed
the reality within its lines
the falsity that it was hiding
yes
i painted a beautiful picture
so so delicate and sweet this picture
shaded and false this picture
now
that i see between its lines

How sad that most of us fail to read between the lines. I love this poem.
