By Kathy Bailey

I hear the call
Across the mile
Of my ancestral land
The emerald isle.

The voices, they chant
It’s nearly time
To go home again
To the sacred clime.

The call is strong
It pulls at my heart
To walk the cliffs
And ancient rampart.

The fairies, they whisper
“Come sister, and glean
What ye have missed
On the isle of green.

The circle is waiting
In the forest clearing
It has waited for eons
The Rowans are tearing.

Come to us sister
No more should ye stall
Erin is waiting
Answer the call.”
