It is time to accept the inevitable...yet in alternate worlds we'll meet....

I cannot sleep
I lie awake
alone I weep
awaiting daybreak

a whisper ceaseless
assaults my ear
as life's briefness
becomes so clear

you moulded my dreams
and entered within
you listened to screams
that came from sin

you drift in my thoughts
reflecting the sun
your lie distorts
the luminous one

forgive me you say
tears in your eyes
you are my day
as the night hides

through thick and thin
we shall endure
but we cannot win
love to ensure

you are not free
and neither am I
cannot you see
this love must die

It's attraction, not love, going on in your heart. He is taken and you know right from wrong and would not take him away from another.
