The deserts of decay,
Home to the invisible legions of doom,
Is laced with danger and despair.
In a word,
Predestination.
The fate of mankind.
Should soceity fail to heed the warnings,
The omens of a bleak possibility.
A vision of the dismal future.
Gaia cannot withstand this form of hell.
The terror of expansion and greed.
If we do not take a good look around,
Our world will be the Mars of tomorrow.
Toxic waste,
Noxious fumes,
Weapons of mass destruction.
Why does the human race continue to
Improve such deadly mechanations?
Automatons of dread.
In circumstances like these
Progress yields destruction.
Maybe Mother Nature should undergo a purging,
To cleanse the environment
Of the corporate apparatus of greed.
