Beneath the Silence

How we percieve each other goes a long way to determine our relationships. Our thoughts lie within our domain of control, therefore we are capable of discerning where we stand in times of uncertainty. This poem raises these issues.

I am the father of my imagination
The son of my actions
But aren't you the brother of my misfortune
The sister of my dilema?

I demand no answer.
Your silence is understandable

Beneath the cruelty of your profanity
I dare you evoke the wisdom of our sanctity
The serenity of our turbulence

Indeed we are

NO DOUBT!
