I heard a song today.
Into my ears,
Though my mind,
And it spoke to my heart.
I had heard this song before,
But never the intent.
Two separate memories,
Two separate times in life,
You, and this melody.
I know you've moved away,
I hope you're happy there.
I hope someday this song floats past you,
And you remember,
All of our times together.
I heard a song today...

Yes, music does that...it ties like a silken string to memories of that special someone...
Great, Mr. Jokre.

So beautiful and heartfelt. I truly believe when two people are separated, if they are meant to be, they will find each other again.
Excellent write.
