I Cannot Bid the Storm

The silken, silver sound of rain~
A symphony of healing balm
Represses dust and soothes my pain,
Infusing with a healing calm.

I did not call the rain to come,
I cannot bid the storm to cease;
It will depart when God says so~
And leave the earth refreshed
with
peace.

A gentle rain does not have to be a storm. Lovely write.
