You were the one,
my beautiful sunrise,
my new days dawning,
my final sighted ending
to the night.
And in the end
you were right,
freedom was just an illusion,
peace
was just another temporary remedy,
but for a moment,
in your arms,
I lay unharmed,
basking in the sunlight,
warm and charmed.
So I ask again,
what was so wrong with illusion,
or ignorance
in bliss.

The heart holds the secret to the question of right and wrong. Ignorance is bliss but to live without love is a vacuum. Great write.

Interesting point of view. I guess the real question is, who decrees the veracity of your feelings and whether something
is right or wrong, appropriate or inappropriate, i.e., who told you that you were wrong in your actions? Reminds me a bit
of "freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose" from "Me And Bobby McGee".
