Fear comes in many forms and oppression in many disguises

I enter now into the solitary night,

Fraught with perils lurking out of sight.

Looking for creatures that may steal from me

The eternal love that you darling promised it

Would be. Fear now grips tight around my heart

As I tear through the bramble not wanting us to part.

Alas, though, you are nowhere to be seen, as

My heart pounds an angry rhythm against my chest

I now wander past the dank and vile woods, praying

Praying this to be but a hideous unrelenting dream.

I have loved you my dear since the day we met,

When your unmatched beauty impaled my heart,

And your gentle smile stilled my soul. However,

Fear grips me now, as I tear through the brush

I pause momentarily hoping, wishing, to hear

Your voice, but nothing, no not a sound

Just the eerie silence that only amplifies the

Fact, that you my love are hopelessly lost

And never to be found.

I in midst of agonies form, drop without thought

To the putrid forest floor, uncontrollable weeping takes hold

With my eyes spilling forth both heart and soul.

I beg and pray for yet another chance

To see the smile upon your face, please God

I cried, let it be. Bring forth this instance, my

Lost love to me.

Casting my swollen eyes skyward, I awaited

His answer to me…then without a doubt, God

Spoke to me. “ Worry not, for it is not she that

Is lost little one, but thee.”

With that now told, I looked downward at my feet

As there was an opening in the forest floor

And the legions of darkness gnashed their teeth

And drug me screaming for my love forevermore.

Sopportato della morte di nerezza da luce.
