Identity revealed

Listening to men
I learned a lot
There is so much
I really am not

I'm not a princess,
nor a goddess, nor a Lolita
I'm not a material girl
nor am I a chick(ita)

I'm not a sainted mother
nor a Ms Daisy, not even a Ma Beaver
I am not a doll, a slut, or domineering,
not a French maid either

I am not a nag, a hag, or an old sock
I am not a soulmate
a bored wifey, or anyone's fan
So consider this - if you can:

Might I be just a person?
Like any man?

PS: the whole thing works in reverse as well... think of hunk, stud, geeser, or father figure etc.... ;)

Good stuff. Why should we differentiate simply on the basis of sex? What's good for the goose is certainly good for the gander.

I didn't know where it was going, and I was delighted in the end. From someone who also still struggles with the misconceptions associated with being a woman! Thanks,
