In the Morning

Okay, this one is different to my usual style... |

Early in the morning,
before the rising sun.
I set aside this special time,
to thank my Lord, Gods son.
Through the night I have slept,
safe in the shepherds fold.
For this I thank you my sweet Lord,
to you my soul shall hold.
As through the day I go,
your grace I pray to share.
So all may see you in my life,
help me to show you care.
When the sun slowly sets,
as this day soon will end.
For one more day you've brought me through,
I thank you Lord, my friend.
