Am struggling right now in my life; can use your prayers.

My job is going nowhere fast,
And I feel my happiness won't last.

G.M. at my job, he is being an awful cad,
And work has me feeling stressed and sad.

I am seriously thinking of leaving for sanity's sake,
And in my life, I really can use a needed break.

Am applying at Olive Garden on Wednesday,
and a job there is what I hope and pray.

I worked at Olive Garden in Ohio, four years, best years of my life;
My job here at the Golden Corral: three years, but all I feel is strife.

Am not appreciated; three years there, am barely making over minimum wage,
And people who've been there less make more than me; boy, that makes me RAGE!

Have no benefits at work, bills are getting out of hand,
And I don't know how much more of this I can stand!

Am fat, disabled, don't have a car, have to walk everywhere,
And I doubt that people'll even hire me; they don't even seem to care.

When is it MY turn to be happy? Is my wanting to be happy a CRIME?
All I ask for is a LITTLE HAPPINESS; I HATE being sad and unhappy all the time!

Be praying for me; pray that I get another job SOON! :( >tears<

*a footnote: went to the olive garden site; checked out my old place of employment back in ontario, ohio; two of my bosses are still there (jackie thomas and sandra pitsch), and jackie is now g.m. there. they still ask about me. plus my parents in ohio still tell me they see them when they go to olive garden,and they still ask about me and tell me they say hello! i loved my bosses there, especially sandy and jackie!

{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Karen }}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Am so sorry I didn't see this sooner sweetie. If there is one thing I am learning it is that life is way too short to live it in misery. If your job at the Golden Corral makes you so stressed then its time to seriously consider a different job. I sure wish there were a way I could reach out and hug you - and reassure you that it really is who we are that counts. And in that category you are right up there at the tops hun. Keep your chin up.. He is watching out for you. I just know a wonderful opportunity is heading your way.
With much love;
Melanie

Dearest Karen,
It concerns me that so much of your personal info is in this poem and the names of people you admire too,you are such a lovely lady whom I admire so much and ofcourse I will pray for you,count that done.
As someone who cares for you I do urge you to take the personal stuff off the net now,the internet is a risky place,please protect your privacy a little more,I realise you are very trusting lady (good people always are) but better to be safe....I have to tell you this as your friend as I worry over anyone I like.I hope you don't mind but I wrote this because I care.
God bless you always,
Take care

I think your turn should be now. You are entitled to feel sorry for yourself just for once Karen, dont be too harsh on yourself. It seems you have taken more knock backs than should be allowed! I think of this saying when I feel the same..."Accept the challenges of life
so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory"...your time is coming my dear.
