History repeats like an echo
. . . echo
From the beginning wher’er we go
. . . we go
Wishing for siestas . . . time to slow
. . . to slow
Danger lingers, abounds, in echo
. . . echo
Climb high mountains and valleys below
. . . below
Doesn’t anyone else on earth know?
. . . earth know
Behold, the death of the earth's glow
. . . earth's glow
See the way waters falter in flow?
. . . in flow
We’re destroying earth? Don’t you think so?
. . . think so
Our greedy nature blinds us . . . you know
. . . you know
Can’t folks see the signs? Hear the echo?
. . . echo
ec . . ho
. . . ec
. . . ho

I hope they hear the echo soon, or one day the sound will just drift off into space and we will be no more
