I mold and change
to adapt to your
MOODS, Mom.

I am a chameleon.

Never knowing
If I have earned
your Respect
Or If you are
Proud of me.

My brain tells me
you are proud of me
but my heart tells me
"..................."

I want my heart to
be able to speak
back the words
"I love you Rebecca"!

When will that ever happen Mom?

I am already Thirthy-three years old and you just turned sixty!

Will I ever feel your love for me?

(((((Becca))))) I am 52 and I still echo these same words. It doesn't matter how much you receive from others, we still seek that true approval from our mothers. Wonderfully written.

Excellent expressional piece on the longing of a soul. We all want to hear those words, but they are easier said by some than others. Great poem Becca
