Retta, this is outstanding. The image of greedy one grabbing what they can yet leaving behind the important ones like truth, loyalty, honesty was magnificent and so true of todays shallow "my needs are all that's important" attitude toward real love.

Reaching the end of my path,
I teeter on the edge of tomorrow-
Wanting to taste sweet victory,
Wanting to fly into the unknown…
Little faces haunting me,
