Youíre the prettiest little boy

Iíve seen in a long time

with your charming little smile

and finely etched dimples.

Your huge brown eyes

that can change instantly

from sparkling to watery

make me remember

how beautiful life can be.

Your sharp tongue and extended vocabulary

 make me laugh,

and your tiny little weightless body

that you drape over me

when you want affection,

makes me warm.

Even though I canít show it,

I love you more than my life itself.

Youíre so beautiful,

and so loved,

and even when you spill

red Gatorade on the white carpet,

itís hard to stay mad at you for very long.

So just remember that

no matter what,

youíll always be my German baby.
