That's the last on Halloween for this year. I promise.

Haunted houses awaken
All ghosts that were forsaken
Lonely souls they are no more
Look how they fly out the door
On a dare they'll gladly scare
Witches, ghouls, they do not care
Even werewolves are fair game
Everyone they see they blame
No one's safe and that's a shame

Not sure if the flow is perfect in this poem but it's still a nice poem that kids will like. Who knew that Halloween inspires you. I certainly didn't.

"Lonely souls they are no more" - I've never thought of spirits in a haunted house quite like this. I've had the not-so-great-pleasure of sharing space with spirits. Perhaps because my experiences have been bad ones, I couldn't bring myself to think of them as lonely. Great work on this Acrostic piece, Regis! You broadened my perspective, and it's a fun poem to read. Love and Hugs~
